    JOB OVERVIEW

    FCCS is seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive (AE) to support our Risk Management & Insurance Services team. Reporting to the Senior Account Executive (SAE), the AE plays a vital role in managing insurance processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining risk management data integrity.

    This role requires industry expertise to proactively support customers, manage the Risk Management Information System (RMIS), and collaborate with brokers, attorneys, insurers, and internal stakeholders. The AE will analyze complex insurance contracts, support policy compliance, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.

    In addition to an annual bonus opportunity and competitive benefits, the salary range for this position is $74,000-111,000 annually.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategic Risk Management

    • Collaborate with broker partners to gather comprehensive financial and risk benchmarking of Farm Credit System (FCS) programs, comparing cost of risk against industry metrics and captive insurance results.
    • Research and integrate new benchmarking tools to improve financial and operational performance assessments.
    • Maintain governance and accuracy within the Risk Management Information System (RMIS).
    • Conduct detailed policy audits and exposure reviews, escalating strategic concerns to the SAE.
    • Provide strategic insights into risk trends, cost efficiency, and financial exposure, influencing executive decision-making.

    Insurance Program Administration

    • Assist in the preparation of renewal documentation and underwriting submissions.
    • Conduct comprehensive policy audits to verify accuracy, ensuring coverage, endorsements, and manuscript wordings align with risk exposure needs.
    • Collaborate with the SAE and Vice President, RMIS, on policy placement and negotiations.
    • Partner with brokers and insurance carriers to enhance coverage, optimize premiums, and improve policy terms.
    • Support the approval, modification, and compliance of Lenders' Single Interest (LSI) and Owned Property coverages, ensuring they align with underwriting requirements.
    • Ensure policy implementation and enforcement, overseeing premium invoicing accuracy and reconciliation within Origami.

    RMIS Database & Data Integrity

    • Maintain data accuracy and workflow efficiencies, implementing process improvements within the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) - Origami.
    • Work alongside the Senior Risk Analyst to support automation and analytics initiatives.

    Insurance Documentation & Client Support

    • Serve as an expert resource for internal and external stakeholders, providing technical guidance on insurance requirements and coverage.
    • Perform non-legal insurance contract reviews and guide members on compliance with contractual insurance requirements.
    • Oversee the issuance, validation, and compliance of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Auto ID cards, ensuring full regulatory compliance.

    Renewal Management & Underwriting Strategy

    • Collaborate with the Senior Account Executive and Vice President of RMIS on the annual insurance renewal process, assisting with broker and underwriter coordination.
    • Support the analysis of exposure changes, contributes to risk transfer strategy discussions, and ensures accuracy in renewal submissions.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    · At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Insurance Brokerage, or a similar technical insurance role required.

    · Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

    · Property & Casualty Producer license, including Surplus Lines, required or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

    · Additional insurance-related designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of employment.

    · Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

    · Proven ability to independently and effectively negotiate all lines of commercial insurance coverage with brokers, retail insurance, and reinsurance markets.

    · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly and concisely conveying complex risk management programs to customers, brokers, insurers, vendors, and other stakeholders. This includes insurance programs such as Casualty, Property, and all Management and Professional Liability coverages.

    · Strong analytical skills to assess exposure changes in underwriting data and determine the implications for coverage and operational risk. Ability to apply critical thinking and past experiences to develop innovative risk management and insurance coverage solutions.
