  • Responsibilities

    We are in search of a driven professional with excellent communication skills and an in-depth understanding of our insurance offerings. The successful candidate will focus on sales, acquiring new commercial accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring the retention of our commercial clientele. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the goals set in the annual producer sales plan. • Identify and target new business opportunities within existing clients and specific market segments. • Reach out to potential clients to provide quotes and schedule sales meetings. • Assess clients' insurance needs, review current policies, and conduct Risk Management Reviews. • Gather detailed underwriting information, including survey data and loss history. • Create and present comprehensive insurance proposals detailing coverages, limits, and deductibles. • Collaborate with service personnel to submit applications and select appropriate markets. • Conduct meetings with clients and prospects to discuss proposals, renewals, and address inquiries. • Introduce clients to service personnel for ongoing support and direct service-related calls accordingly. • Stay abreast of any claims or service issues and assist in resolving them when necessary. • Assist in the renewal process by reviewing expirations, collecting necessary information, and preparing renewal submissions. • Maintain accurate production reports and actively participate in sales meetings. • Promote the agency and the insurance industry within the local community. • Keep updated on industry trends by reviewing trade publications and attending carrier training sessions. • Undertake any additional duties or projects as assigned by agency management. Qualifications: • Must have a proven track record in sales, specifically in pursuing and closing sales successfully. • Required to possess an Ohio Property & Casualty license, or willing to obtain one if not licensed. • Should have a minimum of three years of sales experience. • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a properly insured vehicle for driving to client meetings. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to unscheduled interruptions. • Capable of sitting for extended periods. • Expected to maintain a professional appearance in this public-facing role, requiring appropriate business attire. • Will need to travel to local client and carrier locations during the workday, with occasional out-of-town travel. Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 yearly

    $60,000-$100,000 per year
