Seeking a motivated and self-driven Commercial Insurance Advisor in Cincinnati, OH, for Bickle Insurance. Must possess excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of the insurance products provided by the company. Responsibilities include securing and closing sales for new and existing commercial accounts and managing the commercial client base. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategies to meet the objectives set in the annual producer sales plan. • Identify and engage with potential new clients within the current client base and target demographics. • Reach out to prospects to offer quotes and arrange sales meetings. • Evaluate the insurance needs of prospects, review their existing policies, and conduct Risk Management Reviews. • Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, such as survey data and loss history. • Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals outlining coverages, limits, and deductibles. • Work with service personnel or marketers to submit company applications and choose suitable markets. • Meet with clients and prospects, present proposals and renewals, and address inquiries comprehensively. • Introduce clients to service personnel for ongoing support and direct service-related queries appropriately. • Keep abreast of any service issues or claims and actively participate in resolving them if needed. • Aid in renewals by examining expiration listings, gathering necessary information, and preparing submissions. • Maintain accurate production reports and actively engage in sales meetings. • Uphold a positive representation of the agency and the insurance industry in the community. • Attend training sessions and review trade publications to stay informed about industry trends. • Undertake any additional duties or projects assigned by agency management. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should have a successful track record in sales, particularly in closing deals effectively. • Having an Ohio Property & Casualty license is a mandatory requirement for this role; if not currently licensed, the candidate must be willing to obtain one. • At least three years of sales experience is essential for applicants. • Possessing a valid driver’s license is a non-negotiable requirement. • The candidate must own and insure a vehicle and be legally permitted to drive to meetings with clients. • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment with unexpected interruptions is necessary. • Being able to sit for extended periods is a key aspect of this role. • This position involves public-facing responsibilities and requires appropriate business attire. • Responsibilities include visiting local clients and carriers during the workday, with occasional travel out of town.
