Responsibilities: • Work with the Estimator/Salesman to ensure a smooth handoff after the contract has been signed and accepted • Visit jthe obsite regularly to monitor the pace of job progress • Verify measurements of openings and look for anything that could cause issues for the installers (i.e, headroom, pipes in the way, incorrect openings, etc.) • Establish a rapport and good working relationship with the onsite superintendent for the General Contractor over the job • Maintain and allow for sufficient communication with the GC Superintendent to ensure smooth workflow • Schedule equipment deliveries with installers to make sure they have what is needed to start the job • Timeline Management (See “Timeline Management” below): ensure that the target completion date is being managed and is on time on a daily basis • Ensure all work being completed meets company standards and customer specifications • Address and communicate to the Estimator/Salesman any issues that arise that contribute to a slowdown in allotted completion time • Communicate with Estimator/Salesman frequently; ensure Estimator/Salesman is aware of issues that arise • Manage installers on a daily basis via phone, text, etc., to ensure they are on pace to hit the target completion date • Maintain appropriate availability of rental equipment (lifts, etc) as required for the job and manage timelines for rentals being on hand and returned to ensure job profitability • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations • Hold safety meetings and address any hazards or issues • Has a strong understanding of commercial garage door systems- Types of doors and their functions • Maintain a “Critical Path” log for the entirety of the job process - • Anything else deemed necessary by management Timeline Management: • Three days before the job start date, visitthe site to ensure there is nothing that will hamper the job start • One day prior to the job start date, revisitthe site for a final look; ensure that the product is on hand and is ready to be loaded for transport • Day One of the job: arrive at the job site before installers arrive • Walk installers through the job and communicate the expectation of each day and the completion date • Daily monitor job completion rate and make adjustments as necessary Qualifications: • Experience in commercial construction projects • Strong knowledge of Garage Door Industry / Commercial Services • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets effectively Compensation: $15 - $25 hourly
