Job Description:
The Commercial Lines Account Executive will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer and customer service to clients. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion to meet those service levels. The Account Executive will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities. They will be responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. The Account Executive will work with the Producer to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency clients.
This Commercial Account Executive position is somewhat unique in the agency, as it is designed to provide a high level of sales support and customer service to clients of an agency Principal/Producer on a limited number of highly valued clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Snapshot:
Work directly with clients. Review and process renewals; update all necessary items in the management system and send to clients as needed.
Maintain records according to Agency standards, ensure that procedures are properly followed, and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.
Work directly with Producers to provide necessary client documents, checklists, and proposals.
Use support tools (electronic tasks and expiration/renewal reports) to maintain an organized and effective workstation.
Answer client policy and coverage questions.
Consult with clients on mid-term policy changes.
Requirements:
Strong negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products.
Excellent client management skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
7-10 years of experience in Commercial Insurance with middle to large accounts.
CISR/CIC designation preferred.
Proficiency in AMS360 and ImageRight.
Highly proficient in Excel.
Training Provided:

Working Conditions:
Day shift with full-time standard working hours Mon-Fri.
