    Minimum Qualifications: 5 years’ commercial insurance experience and current P&C licensure.

    Total Compensation

    • Starting salary: $70-90k

    Work Location: On-site or hybrid.

    Candidates preferring to work at an office could live a commutable distance from offices in Plattsburgh, NY, or Lyndonville, Burlington, Montpelier, or Stowe, Vermont. Initial orientation and training will require in-person days at the Burlington location for a period of time.

    Core Responsibilities of the Commercial Account Manager

    • Establish and maintain strong relationship with, and assist, client advisors in making decisions on updates and coverage for accounts ranging from small, mid-size to large accounts with moderate complexities.
    • Collaborate with client advisors to market, quote, and prepare proposals for clients from both a risk management and insurance prospective to decide upon the “best” way to manage the customer’s risk.
    • Provide day-to-day service, anticipate customer’s needs, and respond to client issues/questions in a timely manner.
    • Provide timely, professional, accurate communication to client, team, carrier representatives and
    • Seek referrals from clients and follow through to help generate new business
    • Coach and mentor junior members of the commercial lines, may lead team meetings and initiatives.
    • Leverage Acrisure’s best-in-class tech and resources, and in-house loss prevention and claims management.

    Key Qualifications

    • Current P&C Producer’s Insurance License
    • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years’ commercial insurance experience
    • Technology: proficiency in MS Suite and knowledge of Agency Management Systems (Applied Epic a plus)
    • Effective written and verbal communication, including active listening
    • Strong math skills or high-level accounting knowledge
    • Excellent time management, prioritization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
    • Professional demeanor, positive outlook, and adaptability
