Commercial Lines Account Manager - Insurance - Base Salary to 75k/year - Wichita, KS

• Our client, an independent agency in Wichita, KS is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their tight knit, but growing team and help lead the commercial lines team to success.
• The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for leading a team in handling all client needs after the point of sale as well as managing relationships with various carriers. This role comes with a lot of freedom in how you manage your team and the opportunity to create processes for the commercial lines team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring exceptional customer service on a generalist book of commercial lines business consisting of manufacturing, landscaping, restaurant, retail, property, and aviation policies, etc.
• Facilitating and maintaining good relationships with various carriers and their representatives
• Handling customer service needs
• Conducting risk reviews of new and current clients
• Processing new and renewal policies, remarketing, issuing ID cards and certificates of Insurance, answering client questions, processing documents, etc.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lines with independent agencies
• Current Kansas Property and Casualty (P&C) license
• Good leadership ability (this person will be managing a team of 3)
• Experience and skill in customer service
• Wide knowledge of commercial lines policies

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k - 75k/year range
