Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. The Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts by providing exceptional service to clients and supporting the agency's growth. This role involves maintaining client relationships, ensuring policy accuracy, handling renewals, and providing support for sales efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills to manage client needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship
Manage new business applications, renewals, and policy endorsements.
Review insurance policies and documents for accuracy and coverage adequacy.
Process certificates of insurance, endorsements, and other related documentation.
Assist producers in preparing proposals and marketing efforts for new and renewal accounts.
Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to meet client needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Provide clients with coverage explanations and policy recommendations.
Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and other team members to resolve issues.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Active Property and Casualty License in the state of Kansas
4+ years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and terminology
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
