You’ll be responsible for answering any client questions or concerns about coverage, policy changes, and billing deadlines. Responsibilities: • Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates • Provide helpful answers to clients on any policy or billing questions including explanation of coverage or rate changes to ensure complete understanding • Help create competitive quotes when it is time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy • Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage • Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all documentation needed to give to the adjuster to process • Working knowledge of Property and Casualty accounts such as Construction, C-Stores, Manufacturing, Hotels/Motels, Retail, Restaurants, etc. • Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions • Ability to market/quote new business and account renewals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for the client • Experience with multiple carriers • Identify, compile, and manage information regarding account renewals and new businesses Qualifications: • Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required, training will be provided if your talents are a good match • Associates or Bachelor’s degree required, or commensurate insurance industry experience • Candidates should be very strong communicators and problem solvers, and have great follow-up skills • Active insurance license in your state or willing to get licensed in 90 days • Jobseekers need to have basic computer skills and have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Applicants must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license in the State of Texas Compensation: $60,000 yearly
