Job Description: The Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role requires a thorough understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims handling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their insurance needs and concerns.
Work closely with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage options.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of insurance programs and strategies.
Provide support to the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in the agency management system.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
A valid insurance license.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and industry practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using agency management systems and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
