Responsibilities: • Visit with, follow up, call, and coach existing and prospective clients on commercial insurance policies as part of the company’s commitment to high-level personal attention and customer service • Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity • Develop and present risk management assessments to advise clients on ways to minimize and avoid claims • Stay abreast of all insurance coverage provisions, the overall insurance industry, regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services in the process • Gather all of the necessary information to evaluate the commercial insurance needs against available insurance products for each client, and negotiate the terms and conditions with key stakeholders Qualifications: • A thorough understanding of all insurance company policies and insurance coverage offerings, including their costs and benefits • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, mathematics, statistics, or other relevant discipline necessary - high school diploma is required • Proficiency with computers is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel • Strong negotiation, research, analytical, and communication skill are necessary for success • Must hold a valid, state-issued insurance insurance license(s): Property and Casualty Insurance License and/or Life and Health Insurance License Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly
