  • Responsibilities

    Under the general direction and supervision of the Vice President of Sales, a Commercial Real Estate Sales Manager is responsible for the Commercial division's profitability and operations. This position must consistently recruit and retain productive independent sales associates. Responsible for developing and implementing systems to provide training, coaching, support and guidance to assist sales associates in the growth of their businesses. Must lead by demonstrating our company’s values with an emphasis on creating a culture that supports a high level of customer service, collaboration and transparency through proactive communication. This position is exempt and non-selling. We offer a competitive, comprehensive employment package. Responsibilities: Recruitment: • Understand each market including major competitors, market share and recommend competitive agent compensation packages that will allow us to recruit successfully • Analyze the Agent Value Proposition in each market to ensure our offerings are competitive and commensurate with the agent’s compensation package • Participate in establishing recruiting goals and strategies for each market • Engage in daily recruiting activities that produce results to achieve established recruiting goals • Participate in “The Proven Process” and promote recruiting campaigns to discover candidates for affiliation Communications and Development: • Support and promote company vision, values, systems, tools and ancillary services • Proactively assist sales associates with business planning to establish and achieve sales goals • Provide guidance and assistance on transactional issues and negotiations • Create an environment of encouragement and high morale • Provide high-level support on our systems, processes and procedures including but not limited to CBIQ, CBC Desk, Buildout, marketing offerings, and listing syndications Office Meetings: • Coordinate and host weekly sales activities including office meetings, roundtables and training with emphasis on agent growth and development • Distribute communications post-meetings to ensure all sales associates have access to information Operations: • Manage and direct activities for the Property Management and HOA divisions including holding them accountable to established goals and professional business practices • Participate in the annual budget and monthly financial review process with an emphasis on reaching financial goals established by the Company Results • Achieve profit objectives by increasing the number of productive agents through recruitment, improving agent productivity to help them reach their production goals and keeping operating expenses within budget • Deliver progress reports to the President showing progress towards reaching established goals Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in commercial real estate sales. Business development, people management, leadership, training or mentoring experience is a plus • Active real estate salesperson license • Possess a positive attitude, integrity and passion for the industry • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment; a self-starter with strong coaching and negotiating skills • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, problem-solve and make decisions • Travel is required to attend company events, conferences, etc. Compensation: $65,000
