Commercial Roofing Service Superintendant

The superintendent reports directly to the general manager and is responsible for the gross margin of the company. They manage all outside technicians and their schedules. They will work hand-in-hand with the service coordinator to ensure efficiency in the logistics, purchase orders (PO), and overall job success with the company’s manpower. The superintendent oversees all field operations including the schedule, POs, materials, truck stock, repair process, and anything else related to WO production. The superintendent will work with the service coordinator to ensure scheduling is happening daily, POs are being approved/signed weekly, and each truck has the materials to produce the project before arriving on-site. This includes all company procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in roofing repairs, man lift operation, and OSHA certification are preferred.
- Proven experience as a roofing expert with leadership or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing repairs.
- In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with roofing manufacturer warranty requirements and the ability to adhere to them during repairs and installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively guide and supervise a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Possession of a valid man lift certification and OSHA certification.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and in demanding environments.
- Willingness and ability to work long hours and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity and proficiency with technology, including the ability to use apps and Centerpoint Connect systems (a plus).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
