ServiceMaster TRS is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Sales Representative (New England) to join our team in Connecticut. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business by targeting key commercial accounts, securing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and developing relationships with referral sources, including insurance agents, adjusters, claims representatives, property managers, and other stakeholders. Your focus will be on expanding our presence in the Fairfield and Hartford County areas, particularly within industries such as real estate, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.

Job Summary:
As a Commercial Sales Representative (New England) at ServiceMaster TRS, you will be pivotal in driving commercial sales growth. Your role will involve identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing compelling value propositions, and executing sales strategies that exceed targets. You will collaborate with internal teams and represent the company at industry events and networking functions, ensuring sustained success with high-value clients across the Connecticut area.
Compensation: $70,000 - $120,000+ (Base Salary with Commission Potential)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to identify and secure high-value commercial accounts, focusing on securing MSAs and converting them into long-term referral relationships.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, and key commercial clients in sectors such as real estate, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing.
Master Service Agreements (MSAs): Lead the negotiation and execution of MSAs with key commercial clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that pave the way for ongoing business opportunities.
Referral Network Development: Cultivate a robust referral network by engaging with key stakeholders and converting leads into long-term referring partners.
Collaboration: Work closely with other sales reps and the operations team to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless service delivery.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and local market dynamics, adjusting sales strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales or business development experience, preferably within the commercial sector in restoration, insurance, or property management. A track record of closing high-value deals and securing long-term contracts is essential.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a results-driven, hunter mentality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the commercial sector, disaster restoration, insurance claims process, and local market dynamics.
Other: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Connecticut area.
