The Commercial Account Manager at Prizm Insurance & Risk Services is responsible for maintaining an assigned book of business, assist with account administration, provide member assistance and support the sales and service teams in their evaluation of client and prospect needs.

Responsibilities:
Assist and prepare relevant documentation for new business and renewal submissions.
Prepare proof of insurance and auto identification cards.
Assist with running and reviewing Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs).
Process account changes by verifying coverages, invoices, and updating Applied Epic (Agency Management System).
Maintain account accuracy to include review of applications, new business and renewal submissions, policies, premiums, and invoicing.
Execute proposals and participate in client presentations.
Support and manage activities and workflows.
Overall retention of book of business.
Complete special projects and other duties, as requested.
Interact with agency personnel, prospects, clients, insurance partners and vendors.
Develop and maintain positive work relationships with team members.
Maintain continuing education, participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to apply in both verbal and written form.
Experience with computer data entry required; working familiarity with Applied Epic, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, preferred.
Ability to learn and use Carrier portals, websites, and other software programs.
High level of organization with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented and able to effectively problem solve.
Manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
Participate in continuing education and professional designation opportunities.

Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college degree, preferred.
Wisconsin Property & Casualty Insurance licenses required, or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
