    Salary:

    $100,000 - $128,000 + 10% Bonus Target

    Summary:

    The Communications Manager is responsible to develop and implement the organization’s internal and external communications strategies. The Communications Manager is a creative storyteller and will bolster communication throughout the organization to enhance the Signode brand, strengthen stakeholder relations and promote the Signode image to associates, customers and the public. This role will work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Executive Leadership and other functions to identify and execute communication objectives and opportunities.

    Essential Functions:

    • Develop and execute Signode global internal and external communication strategies.
    • Establish internal communication plan across corporate platforms and business units to publish regular content targeted to global, regional and local teams.
    • Refresh and manage Signode intranet platform to connect global associates for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Partner with senior leadership team to create and deliver executive communications strategy and content.
    • Lead public relations efforts to enhance the external perception of the Signode brand.
    • Manage social media program and content to showcase Signode solutions and drive the Signode brand.
    • Coordinate with Marketing to design and create engaging content in-line with branding guidelines, including videos, feature articles, speeches, media placements, interviews and others.
    • Monitor news and forums to identify and distribute content relevant to the business.
    • Analyze and regularly report the performance of communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or more in a field linked to Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field. MBA or advanced degree desired.

    Experience:

    • 5-10 years of proven experience in marketing, communications, journalism or other professional services capacity.
    • Preference for experience in B2B manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Strong understanding of intranet, public relations, content management and other communication tools.
    • Proficient in using social media platforms, digital marketing tools and analytics software.
