POSITION SUMMARY
The Communications and Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic communications and marketing initiatives. Under the direction of the Vice President of Communications and Membership, the incumbent will beneficially promote CSWE’s brand, product and services.
The Communications and Marketing Manager will serve as the communications specialist working with CSWE divisions to create and distribute engaging content, manage digital platforms and build strong relationships with stakeholders. The incumbent will handle various administrative, communications, and marketing tasks and projects and will help implement communications strategies and plans.
E SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications
Q UAL IFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
Five (5+) years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field with proven ability to execute effective communications initiatives is required.
Management and supervisory experience is required.
Excellent and effective written and verbal communications skills is required.
Excellent and effective editorial skills is required.
Proven query, analytical, and report writing skills experience is required.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness of work completion.
Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the ability to strategically schedule and coordinate campaigns, communications, and projects.
Proficiency with digital media platforms such as project management platforms, content management systems, customer relations management systems, social medial management platforms, digital asset management, marketing automation, digital community management, or similar is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Experience using copy layout tools (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva) is preferred.
Experience with graphic design is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, maintaining timelines, and meeting deadlines.
Provent ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.

COMPENSATION
• The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience ( $80,000 annually ).

ADA SPECIFICATIONS
This position is primarily sedentary and is performed in an office setting. The physical demands of this position are limited to the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and bend, stoop, and carry materials.
