A large managed care organization has a position for a Communications specialist, must have 2 years’ experience along with excellent communication skills, and professional demeanor.

• CONTRACT to Hire: 6 Month Contract to hire position expecting to start in March
• LOCATION: TX/ FL - telecommute from Texas or Florida
• Hours: 8am – 5pm CST

Duties:

• Designs and coordinates direct patient communications with a specific focus on acquisition, integration and operational changes in care notifications. (provider change, term or move; clinic closure or move; payer term; panel movement, etc.),
• patient engagement letters and mailings, patient quality letters and mailings, Medicare ACO and CIN notices, and other.
• Position may include creation and deployment of nonclinical patient emails, project tracking and adherence to compliance and legal requirements.
• Position includes other duties as assigned that are critical to the effectiveness of the communications team.
• Position includes sourcing data from various places and putting them together in a cohesive report using Excel.

Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the basics of Excel (filtering, basic formulas, copying new sheets, simple pivot tables) is required.
• Strong writing and communication skills required. Needs knowledge of MS Office suite and Outlook, and ability to track tasks and prioritize to deliver results on time.
• Track projects in Workfront. Ability to problem solve. Collect and analyze reporting data, updating email reports as needed.
• A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred
