The Central Florida Diaper Bank is looking for an enthusiastic customer-oriented Community Coordinator to oversee data tracking, program coordination, and a variety of additional responsibilities. In this role, you will assist with monthly diaper distributions, event planning and fundraising, report and grant writing, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to thrive under pressure. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of program requirements and reports, while delivering exceptional customer service to participants and community partners. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service to the community. The ideal candidate will reside in the Orlando area and have a strong background in community resources and funders in Orange, Lake, Polk, and Seminole counties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides community resource information for general assistance
Assist with Diaper distributions and community events
Develop and implement fundraising strategies.
Write and submit reports and grants.
Create impact reports and analyze data.
Recruit and manage program participants and volunteers.
Plan and execute events.
Perform funding research and maintain knowledge of community resources.
Operate company vehicle (must be 25 or older).
Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Attend monthly diaper distributions as needed
Assist in the warehouse as needed
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate's degree required.
Must speak Spanish or Creole.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must reside in the Orlando area.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Airtable, and Google Suites.
Ability to work well under deadlines and stressful situations.
Strong data analytics skills.
Knowledge of Inventory Management systems
Mature, calm, and professional demeanor.
Vast knowledge of community resources and funders in Orange, Lake, Polk, and Seminole counties.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must pass Level II background screening Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License, clean driving record and have daily access to reliable transportation to and from work and for travel to off-site locations.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to sit and operate a computer for extended periods.
Ability to speak in front of large groups.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Office environment
Must also be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions for community events
Ability to travel within Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida area as needed
Must be available to work flexible hours including day, night, and weekends.
