  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community organizations, nonprofits, educational institutions, and other service providers to collaborate on offering comprehensive services for Workforce Solutions’ customers.
    • Community Outreach: Attend and represent Workforce Solutions at community events, including hiring events, workshops, resource fairs, schools, libraries, and more to promote our services and engage with the public.
    • Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential community partners to expand service offerings for Workforce Solutions’ customers, ensuring access to a wider range of support, such as financial literacy programs, scholarships, mental health services, etc.
    • Program Coordination: Work closely with community partners to coordinate joint programs or initiatives that align with Workforce Solutions’ mission of empowering job seekers and employers.
    • Service Integration: Collaborate with internal departments to integrate community services into the existing Workforce Solutions framework, ensuring customers have seamless access to needed resources.
    • Communication & Promotion: Create and distribute informational materials, both online and in print, to raise awareness of Workforce Solutions’ services.
    • Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain records of community partnerships, track engagement metrics, and provide regular updates on outreach efforts and partnership outcomes.
    • Workshop & Event Facilitation: Organize and facilitate workshops and presentations at schools, libraries, and community centers to educate the public on available workforce services.
    • Collaboration with Workforce Teams: Collaborate with Workforce Solutions teams to ensure cohesive service delivery to customers by leveraging community resources effectively.
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience in community outreach, partnership development, or program coordination, preferably in the workforce development or social services sector.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse communities and foster collaborative relationships.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize events and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of local community organizations, nonprofits, and social service providers is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data tracking and reporting tools.
    • Frequent travel to various community locations (schools, libraries, community centers, etc.) is required.
    • May require evening or weekend work depending on event schedules.
