Position Overview:

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will play a key role in the success of various nonprofit campaigns by increasing public awareness and participation. You will represent mission-driven organizations at community events, provide information to the public, and encourage engagement through in-person interactions. Your contributions will directly support charitable initiatives and drive positive change in the communities we serve.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Represent nonprofit partners at outreach events and community activations

• Distribute campaign materials, communicate key messages, and promote participation

• Provide accurate information and answer questions regarding nonprofit missions and services

• Assist with event preparation, setup, breakdown, and on-site support

• Gather feedback and share insights to help improve campaign effectiveness

• Attend ongoing training sessions to enhance communication and outreach skills

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Outgoing, professional demeanor with a positive attitude

• Strong interest in nonprofit work, social impact, or community relations

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in fast-paced environments

• Willingness to learn and contribute as a team player

• Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings and weekends

• No prior experience required ; training is provided

• Previous experience in customer service, public-facing roles, or volunteer work is a plus
