We help by dispensing prescription drugs to people who are uninsured or underinsured and struggling to pay for their prescriptions at a price they know up front and can afford. Our ideal Candidates are dedicated and cause-driven people willing to do external promotion to other non-profits, community groups and medical offices to discuss our pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with Medical Office Staff, Physicians, Patient advocacy groups, Churches, and other non-profits
Educate about the benefits of using our pharmacy.
Win over gatekeepers and front office staff with personality and mission.
Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Complete the above in accordance with all Federal, State and Local laws
When needed assist in dispensing in pharmacy or immunization clinic.
Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
Excellent time-management skills - (including the ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule)
Should be comfortable speaking to people about the benefits of our program (e.g., improving patient outcomes, supporting local charities)
The successful incumbent will need to be motivated, personable, and outgoing
Reliable transportation required
Must be tech-savvy
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Must have either an Android or iPhone smartphone
Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries
Willingness to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
Compensation:
$20 - $24 depending on experience & role
