    SUMMARY:

    This role offers the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our mission by combining administrative and community outreach duties. You will help our team while actively engaging with the community to promote health education and service access.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Project and Program Support:

    · Maintain project files, data, and communication channels.

    · Schedule meetings and appointments.

    · Prepare reports and presentations.

    · Assist with program implementation by collecting and analyzing data.

    Community Outreach:

    · Conduct outreach activities in South Dallas neighborhoods through door-to-door interactions and community events.

    · Provide education on sexual health topics including prevention, testing, vaccination, and available support services.

    · Build and maintain relationships with community members and organizational partners.

    · Refer individuals to services and resources based on their needs.

    General Support:

    · Answer phones and emails promptly and professionally.

    · Greet visitors and handle administrative tasks.

    · Maintain office supplies and equipment.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Associate degree or work experience equivalent in social services or related field, plus 2 years with the target population

    · Experience in community education/outreach; knowledge of public health topics such as health equity, health disparities, and social determinants of health

    · Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences

    · Ability to work independently, including organizing and prioritizing activities

    · Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing

    · Ability to work some nights and weekends
