Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team (10-20 hours/week). The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships within the community, promoting our organization's mission, and creating meaningful partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, schools, businesses, and other stakeholders.

• Assist in educating the community about the HUBZone program and the overall benefits it provides.

• Participate in community events and meetings as a representative of the company.

• Participate in job fairs help by local schools and organizations to promote employment opportunities.

• Assist in the development and implementation of outreach strategies to engage the community.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for collaborations within the HUBZone area that benefit future growth.

• Promote the organization's programs and services through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and community presentations.

• Work with other members of the team to create and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital content.

• Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records of community interactions and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or related coursework in communications, marketing, social work, or a related field preferred.

• Must be able to work 40 hours per month

• Previous experience in community outreach, public relations, or a related field preferred.

• Experience understanding community dynamics.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Strong commitment to community empowerment.
