    American Swim Academy® is hiring a Community Outreach and event Marketing Coordinator to lead grassroots marketing efforts across five Bay Area locations: Fremont, Newark, Livermore, Dublin, and Walnut Creek. This is the perfect role for a recent Marketing graduate who enjoys engaging with local businesses, preschools, and daycares to grow our ASA’s presence!

    This is an active, field-based role, not an office position. You will be engaging with the surrounding communities of our five Bay Area locations, requiring reliable transportation for travel.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and some evening and weekends

    What You’ll Do:

    • Plan & Execute Community Outreach – Attend local events, fairs, and networking opportunities to promote swim lessons. • Develop Partnerships – Build relationships with hyperlocal businesses, preschools, and community organizations. • Event Marketing & Promotions – Organize and represent American Swim Academy at tabling events and school partnerships. • Distribute Marketing Materials – Ensure promotional materials are strategically placed in high-visibility areas. • Track & Report Success – Monitor outreach effectiveness and provide feedback on marketing efforts.

    Event Responsibilities

    Setup:

    Confirm venue logistics and finalize event checklist.

    Lift and carry up to 50 lbs for setup.

    Transport, assemble, and secure pop-up tent, tables, and event supplies.

    Set up booth, signage, and promotional displays.

    Breakdown:

    Dismantle signage, banners, and event materials.

    Pack and transport all supplies back to storage.

    Return and organize materials properly.

    Post-Event Tasks:

    Enter leads into the database.

    Complete the event recap and identify areas for improvement.

    Analyze event engagement and report key metrics.

    Who We’re Looking For:

    • Outgoing & Personable – Comfortable speaking with parents, business owners, and community leaders. • Marketing Savvy – Background in marketing, PR, communications, or event planning is a plus! • Reliable & Self-Motivated – Must have a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided). • Professional & Polished – Friendly, well-spoken, and able to represent our brand with enthusiasm. • Schedule – Some evenings and weekends are required for events and outreach efforts. • Swim Background a Plus! – Former swimmers or instructors are encouraged to apply. • Entry-Level Friendly! – Perfect for new grads or marketing students looking for career growth.
