    QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience of at least two years in the human services, education, communications, or related field. The Community Relations Coordinator must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Preference given to those with volunteer management experience. Must be able to successfully network with community partners and facilitate educational programs to various groups. Work flexible hours as needed, including evening and weekend hours. The Community Relations Coordinator must be able to work independently, while remaining part of the Quigley House development team. Successfully complete CORE Comp and ACT Advocacy Training and pass a background check. Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

    JOB SUMMARY: Cultivate contacts within the community to increase awareness and opportunities for collaboration. Promote education and outreach to other agencies, schools, and groups throughout Clay County. Engage volunteers, interns, and encourage agency support. Engage and maintain all digital media and materials to further agency awareness.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    (25% of time) Prevention – Represent Quigley House in the community by delivering presentations in schools, community centers, and other public forums. Topics to be offered include, but are not limited to:

    · Violence Prevention programs

    · Understanding domestic violence and sexual assault

    · Recognizing signs and symptoms of a domestic violent relationship/victims

    · Effects of domestic violence on children and the family

    · Violence in relationships (verbal/emotional, physical, sexual)

    · Partner with the Sexual Assault Prevention Program to provide trainings and education.

    (25% of time) Community Education – Through effective outreach and networking, schedule educational presentations to various audiences throughout Clay County. May use trained volunteers or call upon the CEO and Directors for professional trainings and to provide information about Quigley House services.

    a) Audiences for educational programs include, but are not limited to:

    | Parents | Teachers | Attorneys | Adults | Medical | Daycare providers | Teens | Social Service Agencies | Clergy | Children | Businesses | Church groups

    b) Enter all community education, trainings, and awareness events into the data management system.

    c) Schedule and create/assist with all awareness displays and events.

    d) Run monthly reports.

    e) Develop newsletters for internal and external communications.

    f) Provide and assist with internal and external trainings.

    (25% of time) Volunteer Management – Recruit, process, and retain volunteers and interns for all Quigley House programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    · Recruit volunteers at awareness events, presentations, and community partners.

    · Screen potential volunteers and interns through application, interview, assessment, and second interview.

    · Match volunteers’ skills and interests with appropriate programs and agency needs for services, provide appropriate supervisor information.

    · Assess intern requirements and agency needs, execute screening process and then designate intern to area/supervisor.

    · Provide orientation, coordinate specialized training for direct service volunteers, interns, on-going training updates, and engagement.

    · Maintain all volunteer personnel files designating active and inactive and produce monthly reports.

    · Maintain regular communication with all program directors and CEO to assess volunteer performance and needs within the agency

    · Plan and execute volunteer appreciation events.

    · Recruit, plan, and train all volunteers regarding fundraising and awareness events.

    · Maintain organized records, coordinate volunteer schedules, strong time management skills, and assist with facilitating a smooth workflow within the team by communicating effectively.

    (25% of time) Marketing/Media Management

    · Create a social media calendar.

    · Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of digital and print materials including website, social media, email campaigns, brochures, flyers, banners and much more.

    · Collaborate with the Development team to execute creative concepts, campaigns, and designs that align with the brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message by crafting visually engaging graphics that enhance brand communication.

    · Maintain current understanding of trending topics and trends.

    · Manage all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Etc.)

    · Create, edit, and schedule all videos, live events, and audio recordings.

    · Create and update collateral materials for Quigley House use including but not limited to: Events, Brochures, Pull-tabs, Flyers, Post Cards, Cards, etc.

    · Update and maintain website as needed.

    Every staff member is responsible to do the following:

    · Understand and promote the culture of philanthropy.

    · Serve as a philanthropic ambassador within the organization and community.

    · Help cultivate relationships on behalf of and in support of the organization.

    · Work with development staff to support grant applications and other development activities.

    In addition to the above responsibilities all employees of Quigley House:
