Crisis Response Counselor (day shift)
About the organization: Compass Family Services is a 100+ year old nonprofit working on the front lines of San Francisco's homeless crisis. We provide families experiencing or at risk of homelessness with comprehensive support to address immediate needs and ensure long-term success.
About the team: Compass Urgent Accommodation Voucher program provides temporary emergency hotel rooms for families and pregnant people in crisis. In addition to a hotel room, the program helps families connect with services and a path to stable housing.
Compensation: $28-31 per hour + full benefits
Schedule: 10 am-6 pm, five days per week. Schedule is EITHER Sunday - Thursday with Fridays and Saturdays off OR Tuesday through Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off.
Location: The Case Manager will primarily be at our offices in San Francisco and visiting families at the hotel. Fully on-site (no remote days).

** The Counselor answers the hotline and speaks with families who need emergency shelter. When needed, they will meet families at a hotel to check in and get settled, and respond to any crises that arise during their shift.
