Position: Caregiver Flexible Hours | Meaningful Work | Supportive Environment
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home and community-based support for a vibrant young man with cerebral palsy and low vision. A passionate theater enthusiast, he uses a power wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance with daily activities to ensure his comfort, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfers, toileting, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support the client in attending appointments and participating in community activities.
Provide companionship and ensure his emotional and physical well-being at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum two years of caregiving experience, including hands-on assistance with ADLs.
Ability to pass state and criminal background checks.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.
Must live within a 30-minute commute of the Ambler-Fort Washington area or have reliable transportation.
Weekend availability and flexible scheduling required.
