Curantis Home Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate caregiver to join our exceptional team and care for one of our gifted clients. Our client, a 40-year-old avid reader and scholar, primarily requires companionship and intellectual engagement. He enjoys immersing himself in books, learning about wildlife, and exploring fascinating documentaries. Your role will be to provide companionship and create a mentally safe, stimulating environment where he feels at ease.

Position Details:

Hours: 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm, 7 days a week Total Hours Available: 28 hours per week (we welcome caregivers interested in all shifts but we are flexible on the weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in thoughtful, stimulating conversations
• Create a mentally supportive and comfortable atmosphere
• Share in the client’s interests, such as reading, wildlife discussions, and documentary viewing
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and attentiveness at all times
• Light housekeeping
• Light meal prep
