The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing enterprise compensation and maintaining the Enterprise Salary Structures. This position will have ownership of all Compensation Analysis, Market Surveys, and Job Description Analysis. In addition, he or she will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned audits and HR Ad Hoc reporting is completed, and results reported appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Completes Annual Internal Pay Equity Audit and presents findings to Benefits & Compensation Manager
- Audit State and Local Compensation Requirements
- Compile data for Annual Long Term Cash Awards
- Work directly with the Benefits and Compensation Manager on annual incentive updates
- Maintain PayFactors Compensation System
- Compile all compensation and benefits data for annual survey participation (Distribution Center Survey, Diesel Tech Survey, Operations Survey, Sales Survey, etc.)
- Prepare annual compensation increase workbook with into range recommendations for all team members
- Complete Annual 401(k) Recordkeeper System Audit
- Compile and Audit all data from annual AAP/EEOC reporting
- Complete New Position and New Geographical Location Analysis
- Present new ideas and research for Compensation Market Surveys
- Work with the Total Rewards Analyst in gathering data for Annual Total Rewards Statements
- Educate and communicate with Team Members around Compensation inquiries
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt
- Work closely with HR, accounting, and payroll
- Provide project support for new systems implementations, system upgrades, annual system updates, and system enhancements
- Work under general supervision
- Perform Ad Hoc reporting and auditing as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and communicate/work well with others
- Strong understanding of HR operations including hiring, payroll, employee benefits, and HR compliance
- Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and presentations
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to provided HR Solutions and process improvements
- Technical knowledge of relational database concepts, querying, data warehouses and decision support tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Power BI Experience Preferred
- Minimum three years of Human Resources Experience with at least 1 year of experience in Compensation
- SHRM-CP, PHR or CCP certifications preferred
- Experience with multi-state work environment preferred
- Experience in Logistics Industry preferred
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
- Experience using Human Resources Management Systems and/or Compensation Systems preferred

Pay Range: $49,657.32-$77,923.79
Pay Grade: 8
