Competitive Team Gymnastics Coach

SUMMARY OF JOB:

Come join our competitive team which includes current State and Regional champions, levels 3-10. We are in Aberdeen, NC. We currently have open positions in our Women's Competitive Program and Tumbling & Trampoline Competitive program. We compete USAG Levels 3-10, Xcel Program, and all levels of the USAG TNT program. Individuals who are both goal oriented and energetic are best suited for this position. Individual must exhibit patience, maintain a positive attitude, dependability and show energy and enthusiasm. Part time and Full time positions available. Pay rate is based on experience and knowledge.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with our Team coaching staff to teach gymnasts proper techniques and skills

Keeping up to date with new teaching methods & J.O. requirements / program expectations (we pay for educational opportunities such as National/Regional/State congress)

Teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to competitive gymnasts

Teaching self-motivation through small goal setting

Attending Team events with gymnasts & families

Attending/coaching at USAG sanctioned meets

Perform general office administration

Help clean and maintain equipment and facility

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPENTENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED:

USAG Certified preferred (we pay to renew all certifications required)

Competitive gymnastics or competitive coaching experience

Enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable team-player

Leadership qualities

Reliable, punctual and responsible for one’s duties

Extraordinaire communicator with children/teens/adults
