Industrial company in Sulphur has an opening for an FT Inside Sales/CSR. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of specialty industrial hose, gasket, & bolting products to contract and non-contract industrial accounts over the telephone and internet. The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative will maintain relationships and conduct day to day activities to keep key customers satisfied. Daily activities include heavy phone and internet correspondence with customers and vendors; sourcing standard and custom, value added solutions to customer problems; enter all sales orders and purchase orders into the computersystem; and manage contract files. Knowledge of industrial hose, gasket, bolting and/or related industrial products preferred.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Take orders via the phone and internet; enter into the computer system

· Listen to customer requests and provide quotes in an accurate and timely manner

· Emphasize product differentiation and value via product knowledge

· Estimate delivery dates based on current production and delivery schedules and inventory

· Investigates and resolves customer problems with materials and/or deliveries

· Prioritize workload tasks and function in a team environment

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and new customers

· Partner with Account Managers to keep account activities up to date

· Available for occasional overtime / callout hours

· Maintain an orderly work area and records system

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Some college is preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· 5 plus years related experience and/or training; or Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-Year College

or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Computer literacy (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn internal business

systems – Prophet 21)

· Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, above average

communication and organizational skills

· Knowledge of industrial hose, gasket, bolting and/or related industrial products preferred

Starting salary range: $18-20/hr.

Once permanent they would be part of a shared commission plan that averages an additional $200 to $300 per month, plus Bonus potential. The benefits package is very competitive also.
