The Role

Regulatory Compliance Coordinator

The primary function of this position is to assist in the collection and verification of all required food-safety, organic and compliance documents necessary to maintain Charlie’s role as a leader in food safety and regulatory compliance including maintenance and upkeep of those documents in the company database, DocLink and/ or NetDocs.

Essential Responsibilities Include, and Are Not Limited To:

• Engage with our vendor to base for collection and return of Food Safety/Compliance documents.
• Verification of the accuracy and completeness of the collected information
• Upload and review documents in NetDocs database workspaces per vendor and compliance requirements
• Track, review and request new and updated documents prior to current expiration date.
• Collect, request and send documentation to fulfill internal and external requests.
• Assist in the research and collection of information needed to complete all customer requests.
• Proactive in researching and implementing industry standards and requirements.
• Engage with vendors within supply chain and provide excellent customer service and communication regarding regulatory compliance.
• Respond to customer inquiries as needed.
• Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Problem identifier and Problem solver
• Preferably at least 1 year of administrative and/ or customer service experience
• Previous experience in produce and/ or grocery industry a plus
• Excellent phone communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent time management and team working skills
• Commitment to quality
• Ability to identify and solve problems

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state .
