    Position Overview:

    CXG (www.cxgllc.com) is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal for its group of companies. The Paralegal with work with and report directly to the Firm’s Director of Operations.

    We require a well-organized, self-motivated individual that is interested in a long-term opportunity to grow with a successful consulting and investment firm. The Paralegal will perform diverse administrative duties providing support for the firm’s legal team and interacting daily with clients and staff. The Paralegal is expected to add value, work efficiently and constantly strive to improve team performance thought their function and addition to the team.

    This is a full-time, remote role. The Paralegal will be required to attend daily Zoom and/or phone calls with various staff to communicate with the office and clients.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Scheduling calls and meetings for clients and office staff
    • Drafting meeting summaries for internal and external stakeholders
    • Coordinating and balancing multiple calendars
    • Document gathering from clients
    • Drafting and formatting of corporate and legal documents
    • Drafting internal memos
    • Projects as deemed fit

    Project Management:

    • Coordinating with executives for work being performed on behalf of clients as well as team collaboration
    • Reviewing/editing/proofing documents
    • Formatting word documents; PDF creation, filing and organizing files in cloud server

    The Paralegal will receive a variety of additional tasks, including but not limited to conducting research.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate Degree or equivalent experience
    • National Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal a plus
    • 5+ years relevant experience
    • Securities experience a plus
    • Experience in Microsoft Word

    Ideal Candidate:

    • Able to read and understand basic financial data, legal contracts and third-party communication.
    • Able to engage with Executive Level Management
    • Proficient in using Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, One Note.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Discrete, exercising sound judgement and confidentiality in all matters involved in this job
    • Takes initiative and works independently on routine as well as more complex and miscellaneous matters.
    • Confident and resourceful in problem solving, promptly escalating matters where necessary.
    • Consistently demonstrate value add to the firm and exceed expectations.
    • Demonstrated ability to follow through with tasks and communicate interim details with team members.
    • Interested in obtaining FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification

    Hours and Benefits:

    • Monday-Friday
    • 40 hours per week
    • $35,000-$45,000 Per Year Salary
