    SUMMARY:

    The Compliance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all permit standards and in-house policies. This position will be responsible for tracking all existing permits (Air, Gas, Environmental, Mining) and providing guidance on compliance matters.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement company policies and regulations related to permit compliance.
    • Review and update current polices to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Monitor operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all permit regulations and ethical standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance issues and potential risks.
    • Maintain detailed records of all compliance activities and investigations.
    • Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management.
    • Collaborate with various departments and provide ongoing education to ensure awareness and adherence to compliance requirements.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry trends to proactively address compliance issues.
    • Assist with other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by senior management to support the organization’s compliance efforts and operational objectives.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Experience in compliance management and mining regulations is a plus.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Compensation
    $85,000-$90,000 per year
