    Position Overview:
    The Compliance Specialist will ensure that the company operates within the regulatory frameworks governing consumer financing, mortgage licensing, and servicing/collection licensing. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance protocols, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure best practices in regulatory adherence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to consumer financing, banking, and mortgage servicing/collection licensing.
    • Manage the application, renewal, and maintenance of licensing requirements, including mortgage licensing and servicing/collection licensing, as applicable.
    • Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to address compliance-related inquiries and updates.
    • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current regulations and industry standards.
    • Provide training to staff on compliance-related topics, fostering a culture of regulatory awareness and adherence.
    • Assist in preparing for and managing regulatory examinations or audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
    • Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates that may impact the company's operations or partnerships.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in compliance, particularly in mortgage licensing, servicing/collection licensing, or financial services.
    • Strong knowledge of consumer protection regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and similar frameworks.
    • Experience working with banking partners and understanding their compliance requirements.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with compliance management software is a plus.

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
