    About Us:

    Dayton Granger, Inc. (DG) boasts 80 years of expertise in designing, testing, and manufacturing avionics products such as antennas, lightning protection, and electrostatics all at one location just 4 miles from Fort Lauderdale's beaches. Right now, we're looking for a dedicated Composite Assembler to join us in working on advanced aerospace, commercial, general aviation, and military programs around the world.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble components with precision, following work instructions and blueprints closely.
    • Operate equipment such as ovens and heat presses to assist in composite manufacturing.
    • Handle materials, including epoxies, and manage the loading and unloading of molds.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support production efficiency.
    • Perform additional tasks assigned by management
    • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

    ** Required Qualifications and Skills:_

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Previous hands-on work experience in component assembly, preferably using detailed work instructions and blueprints.
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new processes and procedures.
    • Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical and bonding assembly processes, with an aptitude for precision and detail.
    • Skilled in using various hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
    • Ability to safely lift and push items weighing at least 25 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in riveting and drilling for bonding composite assemblies.
    • Familiarity with composite wet layup.
    • Experience in processes like sanding, filling, and priming fiberglass surfaces.
