    About the Company

    VIZOR is a material coating technology company with offices in NYC and NJ. The company has created a suite of active ingredients and specialty raw materials that go into various consumer goods. The team is comprised of some of the leading technical minds in personal care with over 50 years of combined experience in the industry.

    We are looking for a part-time Compounding Technician, with the potential for this to turn into a full-time role. This individual will assist the lead Compounder in the manufacturing and production of various materials.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Lead Compounder in preparing and processing raw materials according to batch production records.
    • Perform pre-weighing and staging of raw materials to ensure timely and accurate compounding.
    • Clean and sanitize compounding equipment, tools, and work areas to meet GMP and company standards.
    • Ensure the manufacturing area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory guidelines.
    • Document tasks and processes accurately, including cleaning logs and material usage records.
    • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
    • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Lead Compounder or Manufacturing Supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
    • Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the personal care or cosmetics industry, is a plus but not required.
    • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision.
    • Basic understanding of GMP and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
    • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

    ** Compensation:**

    • 9 to 5 shift, 3 days per week
    • Potential to turn into full time role with health insurance, annual bonus, 401K, etc
