Job Summary
In the role of Computer Scientist (RMLS Tester), you will be a part of the team that monitors and upgrades the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) which is used to monitoring, logging, and controlling National Air Space (NAS) equipment, enabling proactive responses to operational challenges and centralized coordination of maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
Experience with development and programming of software applications, but interested in testing applications using automated test tools
Knowledge and experience in use of automated test tools such as Selenium
Ability to convert manual test procedures to automation. Requires ability to program/script automated tests steps
Familiar with Agile development processes, Agile roles and ceremonies dealing with Agile
Familiar with Agile Release Train
Experience conducting tests and documenting test findings in Test Reports
Knowledge of client/server based applications in a Windows/Oracle v11 or higher in a replicated streams environment
Experience testing applications for large enterprise systems
Excellent writing and verbal skills are required
Qualifications:
B.S. of Computer Science, Math, or related technical field and five (5) years of related work experience with computer science or math OR
Master’s Degree in any field and three (3) years of related work experience in computer science or math
Technical Proficiencies:
Testing client/server applications hosted on Enterprise Systems
Windows Client/Server Applications
Oracle database in replicated environment
Automated test tools such as Selenium
Excellent writing and verbal skills
Excellent customer relations skills
This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center and may require travel up to 10-20% of the time to operational Air Traffic Control facilities around the USA when scheduling dictates or at management discretion.
