Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A CSR will possess an exceptional knowledge of company services to obtain accurate client/customer information, explain products, place new orders, discuss existing orders, and provide concise responses for customers.

1. Primary focus is to take inbound calls to assist customers with any and all of their needs and questions or concerns when placing new orders. 
2. Determine customer needs or purpose of the call by providing detailed information regarding product information.
3. Research information beyond existing procedures as required to meet customer needs
4. Work cooperatively with staff from own department and other departments to identify customer service opportunities, make recommendations, plan and coordinate program and communication changes
5. Meet or exceed department objectives and review performance reports daily and monthly
6. Develop individualized payment plans for customers utilizing common business sense based on customer’s personal situations and to overcome overdue balances
7. Be open to change and flexible to new ideas.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE OR BACKGROUND

1. Experience working with customers in a service oriented environment (asking questions, explaining products, uncovering needs, and assessing solutions)
2. Answer a business telephone using knowledge of business telephone procedures and etiquette
3. Independently handle complaints and escalated situations in a business setting
4. Possess good writing and typing skills
5. Strong ability to attention to details with high accuracy along with strong organization skills
6. High level of reliability as it pertains to attendance and punctuality

*This role is a long term contract, paying $16.50 hour. This is fully remote, with 8 paid holidays and 5 PTO days. Strong internet connection at your home is a must. You must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
