POSITION TITLE: DockCierge REPORTS TO: Operations
The primary function of this position is to meet and greet members with a smile and helpful can-do attitude. As the first representative members meet each day the ability to provide top of the line customer service is essential to the success of the employee. A constant positive attitude and ability to be a strong team player working closely with both the dock staff and sales team is required.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome members with a smile and introduce yourself.
Answer any question they might have about where to go on the water that day.
Check that ID matches the name on the reservation.
Field all phone calls coming in to the club.
Create reservations for same day requests.
Send confirmation text messages for the following day.
Collect prospect information and enter their information into the sales optima portal.
Give daily dock tours on request (from sales)
Work with sales team to execute personal tours and open houses (2x per month)
Communicate constantly with the dock staff about arrivals.
Follow up with sales team daily with updates on prospects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policy
NASBLA boating safety course.
Able work on your feet and work in all weather conditions
Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Be completely trustworthy and ability to work alone.
Knowledge of small boat operations preferred by not required
Have a strong attention to details
Work schedule is Thursday – Sunday including Holidays 730am – 4pm
