    We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented senior loan processor for our dynamic lending team. The ideal candidate will have years of mortgage processing experience, a can-do attitude, and a proven track record of providing solutions in the mortgage lending industry. The Senior Processor obtains and prepares loan documents, credit documents, appraisals, etc., to complete loan files. Maintains and updates records and files for processing of each loan; verifies for accuracy and completeness; performs data entry. May prepare credit reports and/or purchase contracts. Note: This is a remote position. Standard hours are 8 am-5 pm MST. Responsibilities: • Carry pipeline of 25-45 loans • Review new files within 24-48 hours • Close every loan on time • Develop and maintain knowledge and comply with company policy and secondary market requirements pertaining to credit/security standards and regulatory requirements relative to conventional, government, and self-employed loan requirements • Stay abreast of changes in policies, standards, and regulations applicable to the work unit • Understand and apply local, state, and federal regulations relating to processing mortgage loans • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely, objective, and confidential manner • Advanced knowledge of complex mortgage loan processing and associated documentation and underwriting guidelines required • Act as trouble-shooter for problem loans, interacting between Loan Originator, client, and lender • Review 1003 for accuracy • Pre-underwrite all loans to ensure proper supporting documentation • Request routine additional documentation from loan customers • Coordinate closing date and location between Loan Originator, lender, and the closing agent • Ensure proper timelines and follow-up procedures are adhered to with loans in the Pipeline list • Manage your client and pipeline so well that you successfully meet every deadline in the contract • Be a filter between sales and underwriting so we successfully protect the integrity of the loan • Serving the client at such a high level throughout the process that the client gives us a 5 on the survey and refers their friends and family • Must work the hours of the business 8-5 MST • Work in a fast-paced environment • Provides weekly verbal and email updates Monday through Friday to all clients in your pipeline • Provides weekly email updates Monday through Friday to all business partners in your pipeline Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • 3 years of mortgage loan processing experience • Experience working with Encompass (LOS) and AUS systems • Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office Suite • Experience with 3rd party order-outs (VOEs, HOI, HOA, Condo Docs, etc.) • Solid knowledge of residential mortgage loans, including, but not limited to: FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional • Solid knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements • Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management, and communication skills • Ability to work 8am-5pm MST Preferred Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree • 4+ years of mortgage loan processing experience • intermediate proficiency with Encompass (LOS) and AUS systems • Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office Suite • Solid knowledge of residential mortgage loans, including, but not limited to: FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional • Experience with 3rd party order-outs (VOEs, HOI, HOA, Condo Docs, etc.) • Solid knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements • Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management, and communication skills • Ability to work 8am-5pm MST • Experience processing new build transactions • Experience processing DPA loans • Experience working remotely in a processing role Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 yearly
