    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Analyst to manage and support configuration and change management processes within our organization. The ideal candidate will maintain configuration records, implement change control procedures, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to track configuration items (CIs), assess change impacts, and improve system integrity and performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Configuration Management:

    • Maintain and update Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify, track, and document Configuration Items (CIs) across various IT and business systems.
    • Ensure version control and traceability of system components and software updates.
    • Perform audits and reviews of configuration records to verify compliance with policies and standards.
    • Work closely with IT teams to ensure the integration of configuration management processes.

    Change Management:

    • Support and enforce change control processes, ensuring all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved.
    • Assess the impact and risk of proposed changes on systems and operations.
    • Coordinate Change management meetings and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
    • Monitor and report change-related metrics to ensure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to configuration and change management processes.

    Collaboration and Documentation:

    • Develop and maintain configuration and change management documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Work closely with developers, system administrators, and project managers to align configuration and change management activities with business objectives.
    • Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on configuration and change management best practices.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Clearance:

    • TS/SCI with CI Poly (Required)

    Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in configuration management, change management.
    • Experience working with DevOps, Agile, or other relevant frameworks is a plus.

    Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of version control tools and systems (e.g., GitLab, Jira, Confluence).
    • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
