    Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking an Configuration Management Specialist to work for our company.

    Summary:

    • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
    • Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
    • ****Conduct System Engineering Technical Review and Configuration Management services for design and development work for DLA financial systems.
    • Provide support to configuration management functions of Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), including the creation and deployment of software packages and configuration baselines using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
    • Assist in overseeing the configuration management process across various aspects of DAI, for both servers and clients, and stand-alone machines.
    • Manage total lifecycle CM planning and implementation for the program/project.
    • Establish and document configuration identification structure for products and assign unique identifiers.
    • Ensure changes to configuration baselines are properly managed and verified.
    • Capture and maintain product configuration information throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Establish configuration verification and audits to ensure performance, security, and functional requirements are met.
    • Provide support for Configuration Management Audits and Compliance reporting.
    • Facilitate management decisions on deployment issues with unbiased recommendations.
    • Maintain and implement Change Management processes using automation and industry best practices.
    • Work with PMO to provide monthly and major releases; prepare production packages.
    • Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan.
    • Create, maintain, and update Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Control Working Group (CCWG) Charters.
    • Develop, maintain, and update documents and artifacts from CM sessions.
    • Create, maintain, and update the Supplemental Implementation Guide (SIG).
    • Create, maintain, and update Configuration Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
    • Implement and maintain software tools for Requirements Management.
    • Implement and maintain change management and ticketing tools.

    Requirements: ****

    • Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
    • ****Must have 3+ years of relevant configuration management experience.
    • Previous experience in configuration management or related technical documentation roles.
    • Previous experience with version control and change management practices.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Preferences:

    • DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification.
    • Currently hold one of the following certifications: IAM-II security certification: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, CISSA, GSLC, CCISO, or HCISPP ****
