    The EiRAM Group is recruiting a Conflict Resolution & Training Specialist to support Morgan State University in facilitating fair and equitable resolutions to internal concerns. The contractor will support the University in fostering an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative workplace environment by helping employees enhance conflict resolution skills, improve communication, and navigate workplace challenges.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Training Design and Review • Develop, update, and deliver lesson plans and written tests for basic and requalification training on an annual basis. • Ensure training materials align with University needs and learning objectives. • Utilize PowerPoint presentations and PDF handouts for instructional materials. • Submit training revisions to the University Chief of Police for approval before implementation.
    2. 1-on-1 Consultation with University Leadership • Engage in in-person or virtual discussions with appointed University Deans to conduct a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. • Facilitate mediation and collaborate with Equal Employment Offices as needed. • Meet with university directors and staff to assess departmental relationships and workplace dynamics. • Conduct a minimum of three (3) sessions per month.
    3. Workshop Facilitation for Departments • Provide expert conflict resolution services, including situation assessments, process/system design, mediation, facilitation, and negotiated rulemaking. • Conduct workshops tailored to specific department needs, as determined by the designated Technical Representative. • Ensure each session lasts a minimum of six (6) hours and includes PowerPoint presentations and PDF handouts.
    4. Departmental Meetings & Mediation • Facilitate in-person or virtual mediation sessions to assist departments in resolving conflicts in compliance with University policies. • Ensure each meeting lasts between eight (8) to ten (10) hours.
    5. Consultation & Information Gathering Reports • Prepare factual and neutral summary reports detailing key insights and recommendations based on consultations and mediation efforts. • Ensure reports are concise, accurate, and structured for submission to the University. • Submit reports in PDF format to the designated Technical Representative.

    Qualifications & Requirements Successful candidates will have at least 40 hours of conflict resolution/mediation training from an accredited source and at least three years of full-time experience working in or with Government Agencies and/or Higher Education Institutions in conflict resolution.

    • Proven experience in expertise in mediation, facilitation, communication, alternative dispute resolution techniques, problem-solving, training and team dynamics. • Strong understanding of EEO policies, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. • Expertise in workplace communication, cultural competency, and employee engagement strategies. • Ability to assess team dynamics and provide tailored recommendations for improvement. • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
