    Job Description

    The Congregations Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production systems, teams, and processes, under the direction of the Production Director and in partnership with Congregation Worship Leads and Congregation Lead Pastors, to help create excellent and intentional environments at all non-broadcast Mariners congregations across Southern California.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead in applying Mariners production philosophy, developed in partnership with senior leadership, to all AVL teams, spaces, processes and systems for Mariners congregations.
    • Lead in AVL alignment, curating the operating system of Mariners worship services, volunteer experience, and production systems for excellence, uniformity, and scalability across all congregations.
    • Partner with Congregations Worship Directors to oversee production execution at all congregations.
    • Oversee and coordinate the Mariners production training workflow to ensure excellent training pathways for all production volunteers.
    • Build a monthly rotation for weekend visits to congregations to assess systems, processes, and any training needs.
    • Provide regular one-on-one and group training for congregation production volunteers.
    • Partner with the Production Director to innovate new technology, systems, and workflows that assist in excellent production execution and volunteer engagement.
    • Coordinate with the Broadcast Manager and Services Engineer to ensure excellent Saturday evening message capture for distribution to all Mariners Congregations.
    • Partner with the Systems Engineer to ensure full functionality of all congregations AVL systems, coordinate repairs and rentals as necessary.
    • Coordinate any seasonal scheduling of outside professionals to help support staff and volunteers at congregations.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education - Four year degree in live production or related is desired or equivalent work experience in church or professional production is required
    • Experience - 5 Years in church or professional production employment is desired
    • Technical Proficiencies - Experience with large-format AVL systems and consoles. (Ross, ABSEN, L’Acoustics, Allen and Heath, Waves etc.)
    • Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication is required for managing large teams across multiple locations
    • Preferences - A broad range of experience and leadership across church and professional production work is desired. This role requires high level knowledge of large scale AVL systems while also expecting that many AVL operators will be volunteers in need of training and equipping.
