    Great opportunity exists for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department! The ideal candidate will become familiar with Aspire’s family of services in order to interface with various operational units and perform the requisite functions in an accurate and timely manner in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, comfort dealing with various levels of management, and the ability to take initiative and multi-task. Under the direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant will perform duties related to:

    • Prepare and process journal entries to record financial transactions in organization's accounting system
    • Ensure accuracy by reconciling bank statements, general ledger, and balance sheet accounts
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
    • Compile and complete monthly contract invoicing
    • Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget
    • Coordinate, prepare and submit annual reports, re-certifications and filings
    • Assist in preparation for annual finance and compliance audit
    • Complete special projects as needed

    Required Experience

    • 1-4 years accounting experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
