First Atlantic Restoration is looking for a motivated, reliable, and personable Assistant Project Manager (APM) in the Virginia Beach area that has a strong work ethic. The APM is responsible for assisting the Project Manager by working in the field, production and oversight of all assigned jobs. 1 year experience is required in construction and must be able to work some overtime.

Job Summary:

Role: Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Carpenter

Coordinating materials, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are on time and within budget

Helping restore homes and businesses to pre-loss condition

Requires high organization, compassion, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Oversee reconstruction projects from start to finish

Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure alignment and information flow

Coordinate material deliveries, pull permits, and schedule inspections

Manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractors for multiple projects

Ensure compliance with all requirements and deliver exceptional results

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in residential construction

Must be motivated, dependable, and personable with a strong work ethic

Flexibility to work occasional overtime

Maintain a drug-free lifestyle and professionalism on and off the job site
