You'll serve as the primary architectural drafter for our company, utilizing design software to produce 2D and 3D designs. Responsibilities: • Work with construction team members to establish a timeline and budget for the design • Meet with clients during the beginning of the project to get project specifications and scope • Run stress tests and simulations on all solid modeling designs before prototyping • Receive feedback from construction team members and clients and revise designs accordingly • Utilize computer software to generate 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the project specifications Qualifications: • 2-year degree or equivalent experience in architecture, design, construction engineering, or related field is desired • Stellar attention to detail, teamwork abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills • Proficient in using architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk BIM, Solidworks, 3DS Max, Chief Architect Premier: Construction Drawings, SketchUp, and Lumion • At least 2 years of experience in architectural design • Possess a firm grasp on the industry as a whole and stay up-to-date on evolving trends in architectural technologies • Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting and detailing experience Compensation: $18 - $30 hourly
