    Envision Construction, a dynamic startup in the construction industry, seeks a meticulous Comptroller to fortify our internal controls. As Comptroller, you will champion financial integrity, enhance our fiscal health, and actively shape strategic financial decisions. Your responsibilities will encompass:

    As the Comptroller, you will play a pivotal role in managing Envision Construction’s financial operations. Your responsibilities include:

    1. Financial Leadership:

    • Develop and forecast budgets under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
    • Implement robust finance and accounting policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

    2. AIA Billing Experience:

    • Strongly prefer candidates with AIA billing experience.
    • Handle billing processes related to construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    3. Construction Industry Knowledge:

    • Possess a solid background in the construction field.
    • Understand principles and practices of insurance management and tracking specific to construction projects.

    4. Contractual Documentation:

    • Develop efficient methods to organize and maintain contractual documentation.
    • Collaborate with legal and project teams to ensure proper execution and storage of contracts.
    • Monitor contract milestones and deadlines.5. Monitor contract milestones and deadlines.

    5. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Work closely with the CFO to develop and forecast budgets.
    • Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

    6. Financial Software Proficiency:

    • Proficient in financial accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks, and AIA Billing.
    • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

    7. Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
    • Ensure accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations.
    • Communicate benefits information to employees.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
